caught six fish--three bass, three trout. Fish Lake campsite awesome. Good sleep. -Jackson

I woke up and had delicious Apple Cinnamon Instant oatmeal. I miss my cat, but we keep moving forward. We went to a reservoir and I caught three small mouth bass. Then we went to Steens Mountain and stayed at an awesome place with a lake that was stocked with trout.-Hannah

After fishing at Prineville Reservoir dam, we headed to Steens Mountain. I can't believe neither of the kids said anything about our lunch stop at Glass Butte for rock hounding. everywhere you look is obsidian. Jackson actually found an arrowhead. Fish Lake is at about 7500'. It was a beautiful alpine lake. Coolest sights of the day--burrowing owls on fence posts along hwy 205 and an osprey with fish in its talons. -Hillary
